Glenith Tucker made cold winter days warmer for clients of Helping Hands. The Rowlett resident knitted 100 caps and donated them to the non-profit critical assistance agency. The project, she said, “made me feel so good. It was so nice to watch adults and kids go through them and pick out the one they wanted.” The kind lady was helping out at non-profit agencies in Dallas and Garland when she learned about Helping Hands from a friend. Most of her knitting is done while she watches a variety of sports on TV. “I do it for fun – it is such a neat ministry – and the rewards are amazing!”
