Rockwall Summer Musicals is excited about their 2012 partnership with Rockwall County Helping Hands and A Play for Food in an effort to collect donations for and increase awareness of ways to help feed the hungry locally.
The talented actors will deliver their lines with a purpose – to help feed struggling families in our community.
Thanks to your support, Annie Get Your Gun which ran June 14th – 17th raised almost $1,000. Gypsy running August 9th – 12th will light up the stage with songs, dancing and fun. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to enjoy top notch entertainment and help the less fortunate.
Although most food drives are associated with the holidays, Rockwall Summer Musicals is dedicating its entire summer season to these efforts and invites you to participate. Donations can be added to your ticket purchases to help fill Food Pantry shelves.
Additionally, donation receptacles and “round up” opportunities at our box office and concession stand will reward you, not only with the joy of helping feed the hungry, but with a specially designed silicone bracelet that will identify you as donor to the food pantry program.
