‘All systems were go’ when a sold-out crowed blasted off with the Starship Enterprise crew led by rocketmen Billy Quinton and Russ Childers, along with their co-star Sheri Franza, for the 2nd annual Helping HandsFashion Show on May 23 at the Hilton Bella Harbor.
Out of this world fashions from the Helping Hands Centsible Thrift Stores were rocketed down the runway by a bevy of beautiful local “aliens” and some very hip, well-dressed men. They modeled high fashions available at the Centsible stores at true bargain prices.
This year’s event included a silent auction of some top merchandise from The Boutique at Helping Hands – an area in the Williams Street store that showcases designer merchandise at slightly higher thrift store prices – but still priced to sell.
Entertaining the lovely models in the Helping Hands All Systems Go! Fashion Show are hosts Russ Childers and Billy Quinton, who kept the sell-out crowd roaring with laughter. Wearing clothes from the Centsible Thrift Stores of Helping Hands are: Dariah Morgan, Melanie Orchard, Jayme Reynolds, Kendra Jones, Priscilla Ianelli and P.J. Talcott.
