Items Needed by Helping Hands for
Thanksgiving Food Baskets
Update: Thanks to your generosity, we no longer need:
- Green beans
- Corn
- Pumpkin Pie Puree
- Stuffing
We STILL need:
- Instant Mashed Potatoes (box or packet)
- Sweet Potatoes/Yams (can)
- Cranberry Sauce (can)
- Cream of Mushroom Soup (can)
- Turkey Gravy (can or packet)
- Fruit – Peaches, Mandarin Oranges, Pears (can)
- Mac & Cheese (box)
- Cooking Oil (16oz or 24oz)
- Jiffy Cornbread Mix or Martha White Cornbread Mix (box or bag)
- Jiffy Pie Crust Mix (box)
*Please deliver items to the Helping Hands Food Pantry by Tuesday,
November 19th. The pantry is located at 401 West Rusk, Suite 200,
Rockwall and donation area is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am –
4:00pm. Thanks so much! We are grateful for your support.

Occasionally Helping Hands has to purchase food for the pantry, but the vast majority of supplies come from individual donations and food drives…

Last year, we distributed more than 200,000 pounds of food thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community.
For this upcoming year, we’re hoping to give over 300,000 pounds.

Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry is run in conjunction with the Assistance and Referral Program, offering relief to families who have fallen on hard times.
Families needing emergency food assistance are provided with enough nutritious meals to last 14 days.
We rely on your generosity to feed our neighbors.
