The Health Center is a community supported, non-profit medical facility and must charge for services in order to continue serving its patients. When you choose Helping Hands as your medical provider, the competitive costs help provide essential services for those who cannot afford to pay.
Health Maintenance Plan
At The Health Center, we believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their insurance status. Our Health Maintenance Plan (HMP) is a prepaid, affordable solution designed specifically for our uninsured community members to manage their routine health needs with zero hidden costs.
Plan Overview
For a single annual fee, members receive a comprehensive package of preventative services. This plan is designed to help you stay ahead of your health through regular monitoring and professional consultations.
Annual Enrollment Fee: $375 per person*
Plan Duration: 1 Year from Date of Purchase
Included Annual Benefits:
Your membership covers the most essential aspects of primary and preventative care:
• 4 Office Exams: Use these for routine wellness check-ups or when you are feeling unwell.
• 4 Comprehensive Lab Panels: Includes General Health Panel (GHP), Lipid/Cholesterol, HbA1c (Diabetes screen), and Urinalysis (UA).
• 1 Seasonal Flu Shot: Stay protected during flu season.
• Gender-Specific Screenings: Includes either 1 Pap Smear (female participants) or 1 PSA Test (male participants).

School Shots and Physicals
Don’t wait! School shots and sports physicals are available all year.
• School Sports Physicals – $ 25
• Immunizations* – $13 Administration Fee per Immunization
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Shot records are required for immunizations.
*Immunizations are available for uninsured children and those on Texas Medicaid. Private insurance is not accepted. Fees are required at the time of service.
